A senior long-stick midfielder…should compete for time in helping to replace Steve Grossi…a physical player who has good athletic ability…brings energy to the team.
2008: Appeared in 14 games off the bench…had three ground balls against Sacred Heart…finished the year with nine ground balls…scored his only goal in the regular-season finale against Villanova.
2007: Played in a pair of games…had a ground ball at VMI…also saw action in the win at Saint Joseph's.
2006: Played a limited role as a freshman…saw the field in four games and had his only goal against Sacred Heart…took five faceoffs.
Background: A graduate of East Brunswick High School…a three-sport standout in high school…was an Honorable Mention All-State pick as a senior…was named All-Area and All-Conference in both football and lacrosse…played on the 2005 state championship team and was the MVP in the championship game…a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Janet and Ernie Fessel…majoring in economics.
