Has converted to a short-stick defensive middie for the 2007 season…brings a competitive fire to the squad…has good stick skills and the ability to create offense in transition.
2006: Played in all 14 games…scored six goals and had seven assists…opened the year with two goals against Virginia…had four assist vs. Robert Morris…snared 18 ground balls, including three against both Denver and Delaware.
2005: Tied for second on the team with 16 goals…scored three times in wins vs. Sacred Heart and Saint Joseph’s…third on the team in ground balls with 38…had six ground balls against St. John’s and C.W. Post.
2004: Played in all 13 games as a rookie...contributed four points...scored his only goal against Albany...had 16 ground balls, including three vs. Towson and Wagner.
Background: A local product who graduated from Conestoga...named First Team All-Main Line...Honorable Mention All-League as a senior and was team captain...four-year varsity performer...played three years of varsity football and was named First Team All-Central League...a member of the Honor Roll all four years...son of Nancy and James Dougherty...majoring in finance.
