A good finisher inside…Drexel’s leading active goal scorer with 34 goals…will be counted on to score this spring. 2005: Finished the season with 12 goals, tying him for fourth on the club…had three goals in win at Robert Morris…had a pair of goals in the losses to Towson and Villanova…had 18 ground balls, including three against Binghamton and St. John’s.
2004: Appeared in only six games...scored a pair of goals against Virginia...had four assists, two against Lafayette and two vs. Saint Joseph’s...also had seven ground balls.
2003: Started every game...tied for the team lead with 20 goals...also had six assists and 17 ground balls...scored two or more goals eight times, including a career-high three goals against three teams.
Background: Played at Carthage High School, which produced some of the top players in the nation...First-Team All-League pick as a senior and Second-Team selection as a junior...scored two goals in the state championship game...also played basketball and football...son of Maureen and the late Rick Rumble...majoring in finance and marketing.
