Begins his final season with 88 career goals, 49 assists and 137 points…ranks 12th all-time at Drexel in goals and is 14th is both assists and points.
2012: Finished the season seventh in the CAA in goals, points and assists per game…named Second Team All-CAA….scored five goals and had an assist in the win against Albany…also had six points against St. John’s…scored three or more goals four times…had a hat trick in CAA semifinal win at Penn State.
2011: Scored 27 goals and had 22 assists for 49 points…finished second in the CAA and 11th in the nation in points per game (3.5)…was second in the CAA in goals per game (1.93) and third in assists per game (1.57… tied for second in the CAA in man-up goals with six…had the highest single-game point total of anyone in the nation when he tallied 10 points in season-finale at St. John’s…recorded season-highs of five goals and five assists in that game…had three or more goals four times.
2010: Had an outstanding first season and was named to the CAA’s All-Rookie Team…led the team with 32 goals and tied for the team lead with 41 points…tied for first in the CAA with four game-winning goals…tied for fifth in the league in goals per game and tied for eighth in points per contest…scored the game-winner in the win against No. 3 Notre Dame…had seven goals, including the game-winner in Drexel’s win against No. 8 Hofstra….it was the most goals scored in a game by a Drexel player since 1996 and earned him CAA Player and Rookie of the Week…was named the CAA Rookie of the Week four times…had at least one goal in every game except the opener…finished the year with three goals and a career-high three assists in the CAA Semifinals against Delaware.
Background: Attended Dr. Charles Best High School, where he graduated with honors…was the 2009 British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League Most Valuable Player…led the league with 107 points and was a First Team All-Star…was the B.C. High School MVP and played on the provincial championship team…named MVP in 2008 B.C. Intermediate A Lacrosse League, when he scored 106 points.
Personal: Son of Nancy and Bruce Church…one of three children…majoring in sport management.
