2008: Named Second Team All-CAA as an outfielder…tied Drexel’s single-season record with 36 runs scored…ranked fifth in the CAA with 17 steals…got her 100th career hit, an RBI double, against UNC Wilmington on March 23…Named CAA Player of the Week on April 28…second on the team in batting with .315 average…led the team with 13 multi-hit games, including three-hit performances against Campbell twice and the University of the Sciences…homered in consecutive games against Penn and Towson on April 23 and April 26...started in all 47 games in left field…led all Drexel outfielders in fielding percentage, committed just two errors all season.
2007: Ranked eighth in the conference and led Drexel with a .336 batting average…led the Dragons with a .545 slugging percentage…hit her first career home run on April 1, went on to finish second on the team with four round-trippers…more than doubled her RBI total from freshman year…led Drexel outfielders in assists.
2006: Led the Dragons with 31 runs scored, a freshman record…tied a school record by scoring four runs against the Univ. of Maryland – Eastern Shore on April 20…second on the team in stolen bases and fourth in batting average and hits…ranked 10th in the CAA in runs scored.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at Brick Township…served as team captain in junior and senior seasons…named team MVP in 2004 and 2005…All-County Second team in 2004 and First Team in 2005…also played soccer, basketball and track for four years.
Personal: Daughter of Ruben and Sharon Rodriguez…majoring in education.
