2008: Started eight games in right field…saw a career-high 24 plate appearances…drove in two runs against Alabama State at the Santa Clara Bronco Stampede Tournament…became the team’s top pinch hitter during the season…registered career highs in runs scored and walks.
2007: Saw action in 27 games and made 12 starts in right field…went 2-for-3 with two RBIs against UNC Charlotte and 2-for-4 at Maryland – Eastern Shore…only Drexel outfielder without an error during the season.
2006: Smacked her first career hit, an RBI single, against Maryland – Eastern Shore on April 20. Background: A member of 2003 New Jersey Group II state championship team…All-County First Team in 2005…state scholar-athlete award in 2005.
Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Kathy Bongiovanni…majoring in chemistry.
