2010: Made six stars and six appearances in relief during the season…held opposing batters to a .220 average, which was the best on Drexel’s pitching staff, right-handed batters hit just .173 against her on the season…combined with Katrina Gaudier to shutout Georgetown on March 23 in the home opener…struck out season-high six batters in a complete-game victory over NCAA-qualifier Iona on March 25.
2009: Won four of her six starts…posted career best and team-leading 2.60 ERA…threw a six-inning shutout of Fairleigh Dickinson on March 8 in the UMBC Dawg Pound Tournament…pitched complete-game victory against Lafayette on April 1, striking out a career-high nine batters in the win.
2008: Selected for CAA All-Rookie Team…led conference in relief appearances and games finished…ranked 37th in the NCAA and fifth in the conference in saves…second on the team in wins and ERA…saved two of Drexel’s three wins in first ever sweep of Towson…earned her first career pitching victory on March 15 against Delaware State, also got the win against St. Francis (Pa.) on the same day.
Background: A veteran of international competition as the pitcher on two of Canada’s top club teams…pitched in the 2005 and 2006 Canada Cup tournaments…got the pitching victory in the 2005 gold-medal Canada Cup game…earned a spot on her region’s team in the 2006 Canadian National Tournament…also an accomplished swimmer.
Personal: Daughter of Bob Boundy and Edna Ritchie…her brother is a nationally ranked swimmer in Canada and her mother played varsity basketball at the University of Victoria…majoring in psychology.
