FAIRFAX, Va. - In search of its first conference victory of the season, the Drexel men's soccer team will visit George Mason on Wednesday. The Dragons are coming off a 2-0 loss at UNC-Wilmington over the weekend, and have dropped their first two Colonial Athletic Association games of the year. They will have a chance to rectify that when they visit the Patriots, however, as the Dragons look to repeat last season's 4-1 victory.
The Dragons are playing their second consecutive road contest before returning home to take on Towson this Saturday. Drexel is winless on the road this year, although they did notch a scoreless draw at NJIT last month.
Last season against George Mason, the two teams played an even, scoreless game through the first half before the Dragons exploded for two goals early in the second. Malcolm LeBourne got both scores for Drexel, putting the team up 2-0 before six minutes had passed in the second half.
Drexel and George Mason will square off at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax.
