2011: Started in 40 games for the Dragons while taking over as the regular shortstop during the seasons…posted career highs in triples, home runs and walks also stole nine bases while only being caught three times…matched Drexel’s single-gamer record for triples with two at George Mason on April 23…hit .308 with a .577 slugging percentage over the last three weeks of the season.
2010: Played in 42 games and made 34 starts…posted career high 11 stolen bases on 12 attempts, ranking second on the team in steals…second on the team in defensive assists with 73…ranked third on the team with 15 runs scored…went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in a win over NCAA-qualifier Iona on March 25.
2009: Named CAA Rookie of the Week on March 16…stole season-high three bases against Fairleigh Dickinson on April 8…ranked third on the team in doubles and stolen bases…started all but one game as the team’s regular third baseman…led the team with 53 assists.
Background: A four-time All-Conference selection at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High…earned All-Met honors…led her high school team to two conference and two state championships and a No. 16 national ranking.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Monika Metcalf…majoring in education.
